Paul L. Schechter, CPA, MPH, MA is the Founder of CFO's Online. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and has practiced since 1982. He specializes in the financial operations of privately-held businesses and their owners. He leverages his financial knowledge to to help his clients achieve financial sustainability.
Paul graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1975 with a B.S. In Public Health and has also completed two masters degrees: one in Health Care Management from the University Of Illinois Medical Center and the other in Behavioral Arts (Conflict Management) from CSU-Dominguz Hills. He is Certified as a Mediator by the L.A. County Bar Association. He was previously a Sr. Tax Manager with Ernst & Young where he was a national specialist in partnerships and real estate. He began his career in the health care audit division of Arthur Andersen & Co. and also worked in their tax-exempt restructuring group. He has been a Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a Certified Netsuite E-Commerce consultant. He was previously on the Board of the Century City Chamber Of Commerce and was a Board member of the REC and Westside United Way. He has taught classes for BH Adult Education and the Calif. Society of CPA's.
